VYPE Recognizes Cover Athletes

Craig Keith, former Millbrook High School stand-out who enjoyed a professional football career with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Jacksonville Jaguars, admitted that he would have enjoyed playing pro basketball player than football, but he played the hand he was dealt and enjoyed his career in sports. Keith was the keynote speaker at VYPE's first athletic banquet in honor of high school athletes who have appeared on the magazine's covers from August through December. Nearly 100 athletes, parents, coaches, athletic directors, and VYPE staff enjoyed an evening of Q-Shack barbecue and Smoothie King smoothies as they congratulated VYPE's cover kids who signed blown up canvases of their magazine images. VYPE will host another event next spring honoring cover athletes from January through June.
