St. Thomas Academy won its fifth consecutive Class A true team state championship with a true team record of 2,076.5, while Edina won the Class 2A title with 2,060 points. Second place finishers for the Cadets included Tim O'Brien, who had a 55.56 finish in the 100 butterfly, and the 200 freestyle relay team of O'Brien, Joe Boldt, Conor Triggs and Quinn.
