Lizzi Naumann, Totino-Grace, basketball The senior post dominated the boards, grabbing a single-game Eagles-record 21 rebounds to keep her team undefeated with a 67-61 win over St. Francis in double overtime. She also added 13 points and five blocks, leading the Eagles to a 14-0 record, their best start in program history. Isaiah Thomas, Fridley, basketball The senior forward lived up to his NBA Hall-of-Fame name, scoring 46 points and grabbing 15 rebounds to lead the Tigers to a 100-75 win over St. Louis Park on Friday. Breanna Herzog, Visitation/SPA, hockey The junior forward notched five points (2G, 3A) in a 6-4 win over the St. Paul Blades, two assists in a 2-2 tie with the Minneapolis Novas and shined in the Outdoor Hockey Classic, scoring the game-winning goal in a 2-1 win over the Novas. Drew Johnson, Edina, swimming Johnson led the Hornets to a Section 6, 2A True Team meet on Saturday by winning the 100 and 200 freestyles with record times.
