I never was a football fan,I was all about basketball. Until one day a man known as "Big Rod" influenced my mom to sign me up for Raliegh Parks and Recreaction. I was signed to a team, "the Vikings". My first practice my coach "Brown" asked me what position do I want to play,I had no response. He advised me to play CENTER,but I only knew one position that was QB. I was a short thick kid,not very fast, and i couldnt move very well,I had no choice but to play on the line. It didnt really bother me until I realized i could throw a football I didnt play my following year. When I went back to play I thought I was ready but I still ended up being 3rd screen. The next year I was skiny, quick, and I was able to move but when I tried out for QB I was back at 3rd screen so I moved to play WR. It was my last year with just 4 touchdown receptions. This all started when I was 9 years old,out of these three years we won 2 superbowl games, where in one of them I had to play corner going up against our rivalry the "Cowboys",I stoped there RB almost everytime he ran to my side. I didnt play when I was thirteen years old. When I was in the 8th grade I played for Leesville Road Middle School,I also tried out for QB here as well but I still feel short handed of my goal. Me being 2nd screen here I was first screen WR/KR/PR/CB,and I played MLB for the second half of the season. I played basketball for Leesville Road Middle School,I played PG,and SG I avg. 8pts,5stls,1reb,and 13ast. Then I ran track I was running a 5.0 forty,my events was the 100,200,and the 200 relay race I always came in 2nd besides one track meet I came in first place.
Then I moved on to Broughton High School,I was lefting weights over the summer with the coaches of the football team. Me being a freshman I felt that I had to prove to the coaches that I had what it took to be a starter. I thought that I will finally get my chance to be a starting QB after all of the years being a back up or 3rd screen. Before the first freshman game I moved up to JV but I got to play that game, but it was at corner. My first JV practice was against the Varsity team where Chandler Browning told me to do my thing,so I did just that thinking if I do well i can move up to 2nd screen but I was wrong. Staying strong I just waited for my turn to come well it didnt take very long, the 5th game of the season I had my chance to start cause the st screen QB had a concussion and the 2nd screen forgot his mouth piece so I got to start. I thought I would come in the game nerves but i was wrong, but my WR wasnt catching any pass until the 4th Quarter when I threw a touchdown pass earlier. We where losing 23 to 20, we was on the 45 yrd line with a minute left on the clock,I took a 5 step drop throwing the "last bullet in my gun to the endzone" said by the QB coach Bodie, touchdown CAPS we won that game 27 to 23. I was sacked once but throw no int.,I started the flowing game against Enloe but didnt play that much but i didnt get sacked or throw any int. The other freshman QB then moved up so I was 4th screen, but i moved up to Varsity to play QB but I knew I wasnt going to play I was moved up to watch Chandler Browning play and to see how he moves around an keep his feet moving at all times.
