Nominate Your Student for Athlete of the Month

Republic Bank, VYPE and WHAS11's HSGameTime.com have teamed up to honor accomplished students as Republic Bank's Athletes of the Month. Each month, photos and accomplishments of the recipients are included in VYPE High School Sports Magazine and the students are nterviewed for WHAS11 and HSGameTime.com. In August, one boy and one girl will be chosen from those recipients to be named Athletes of the Year and will receive a $1000 college scholarship. To be considered for Athlete of the Month, a student must:

- Be a senior

- Graduating in 2010

- Participate in at least one varsity sport

- Have a GPA of 2.5 or higher

- Demonstrate leadership qualities both inside and outside of sports.
