No. 1 Mansfield Timberview Upset

Arlington Seguin took Mansfield Timberview in to overtime and knocked off the state's No. 1 Class 4A team, 41-28. Even more impressive is the fact that Seguin, ranked third in the state, pulled off the upset without its top scorer and rebounder, Alex Adekunie, who was sidelined with a hand injury. Senior forward Amber Doolittle piked up the slack, scoring 13 points and pulling down a career-high 17 rebounds against Timberview. Seguin (23-4, 5-0) slowed down their district rival with defense. Seguin trailed by nine points at the half but held Timberview without a field goal for the entire third quarter.
