Team of the Week: Parkview Patriots

Little Rock Parkview hung on for a Heaven's Best Tournament championship last Thursday night at Hall High School. For their effort, the Patriots earn VYPE Team of the Week honors for the week of Dec. 29 through Jan. 3, Parkview knocked off city rival Central 53-51 to win the title from the 12-team field. Coby Harris' steal set up Spencer Matthews' easy go-ahead layup with 35 second to play. Freshman Chris Winston led the Pats with 17 points and 7 rebounds. Sophomore Aaron Ross, who earned tourney MVP honors, scored 12 points and pulled down nine rebounds. The Patriots play at Jacksonville tonight in a 6A-East Conference game.
