All-City Softball OF - Katie Jirak, Piedmont, sr. Her speed on the bases and in the outfield gave opponents fits. She turned singles into triples at the plate and hits into outs when playing defense OF - Ali Manship, Harrah, sr. Manship combined excellent pitching with a powerful bat. That made her a tough combination to handle. She hit 9 homeruns this year and helped Harrah to the Class 5A state tournament with a 31-4 record. OF - Chelsea Jones, El Reno, so. In just two years Jones is already a player opponents fear. She is known more for her outstanding pitching, but she excels anywhere she plays. IF - Kelsey Roberson, Washington, sr. Hitting the ball in her direction was an automatic out. She was one of the best defensive players in the state this year, and she had one of the strongest arms as well. IF - Drew Wright, Moore, sr. Wright was one of the best power hitters in the state. She could crush the ball out of any softball field. She helped Moore to the Class 6A state tournament this year. IF - Audra Chambliss, Tuttle, sr. One of just two seniors on the team, the second baseman led the Tigers in hitting and to their second straight Class 4A state championship. IF - Ashley Brokeshoulder, Shawnee, sr. She dominated on the mound, at the plate and on the field. She excelled at everything she did to help Shawnee to the Class 5A state runner-up finish. C - Caitlyn Marcum, Washington, sr. One of the best hitters in the state, Marcum excelled at collecting the big hit to win the game. The Warriors rode her hot bat to a Class 3A state title this year. P - Kalynn Schrock, Choctaw, sr. She was nearly unhittable this year. Her fastball and mixed pitches gave opponents fits. UF - Kaci Quintero, Westmoore, sr. Her versatility was a big reason the Jaguars collected two straight Class 6A state runner-up finishes. She did whatever the team needed on the mound, at the plate and on defense. Player of the year - Caitlyn Marcum, Washington Coach of the Year - Jerry Bates, Tuttle All-City Volleyball Tyler Henderson, Heritage Hall, sr. The best player in the state without a doubt. The outside hitter was feared for her tremendous power and jumping ability. Emily Cobbs, Edmond North, sr. The four-year starting setter knew how to orchestrate an offense with her passing ability. Adrienne Totoro, Heritage Hall, sr. Totoro was one of the most unheralded players on a talented team that won its fourth straight Class 4A title. But her defense and passing game were excellent. Jessica Adams, Heritage Hall, sr. Her versatility helped the Chargers capture their fourth straight Class 4A state title this year. She helped on offense and defense. Mindy Gowens, Edmond Santa Fe, sr. Gowens was one of the best defensive players in the state. She knew how to dig a ball to prevent points and start the offense. Morgan Roy, Bishop McGuinness, sr. Roy collected plenty of kills with her powerful hitting. Not too many players could match her offensive skills.
