On August 25th, Collegiate sophomore Julie Hertzman found the goal with an able assist by Taylor Hodge, breaking the Sacred Heart field hockey team’s four-year-long, 87-game winning streak. The goal put the Amazons ahead 3-2 three minutes into overtime. It was the game’s final score. Collegiate teammates shared congratulatory hugs after the game.
Sacred Heart's amazing streak lasted over four years and will go down in the record books as one of the longest high school field hockey winning streaks of all time. Congratulations to both teams on their outstanding play.
