SHILOH Christian won the Class 4A state championship on Saturday and was recognized as the top team in the state of Arkansas by VYPE.com's National site this week. Rivals.com, a site that has grown in popularity through recruiting coverage, released its Rials-High National Top 100 earlier this week and had the Saints No. 87. SHILOH Christian finished the season 13-1, with its lone loss coming in the season opener at Shreveport (La.) Evangel Christian, a team that finished ranked No. 2 in Louisiana and No. 82 nationally by Rivals. The Saints went on to win 13 consecutive games and mercy ruled 10 of 11 opponents from the same class, a feat matched only by the 2005 Springdale High squad. SHILOH Christian's average margin of victory this season was by 42 points.
