The boys basketball season is beginning to kick into high gear with a big game at Waggener High school on Monday night. Waggener, who is 4-1 to begin the season, was led by Dayvon Sloan, who scored a game high 39 points for the game. Sloan led all scorers and scored 17 points in the 4th quarter to lead the Wildcats. Waggener led 29-28 at halftime and then outscored Bullitt Central by 12 points in the 3rd quarter. Sloan hit 2 three pointers in the game. Bullitt Central was led by Mike Kean who scored 18 points and T.J. Flener who scored 17 points. The cougars fell to 1-4 to begin the season. Congrats to the Wildcats and best of luck to both teams for the remainder of the season.
