Coaches' Polls: Charleston Up To No. 2

The votes are in for the Week 14 Vype Magazine Coaches' Poll in Arkansas. This is the only coaches' poll in Arkansas, and coaches are selected all across the state in each classification to vote for the top 10 teams each week, in each class. Coaches are the ones who know the most, so we thought, why not ask the experts. You can go online at www.vype.com and click on either Western Arkansas or Central Arkansas to view the complete poll after it is released each week. Please note: the only votes counted are those of head high school coaches in Arkansas. Poll Notes: - Bentonville sticks at No. 1. - Pulaski Academy moves to No. 2. - Helena-West Helena drops to No. 6. Vype Team of the Week: Bentonville — The Tigers led Fort Smith Southside from the beginning of a 32-20 7A-State title win. The victory marked the Tigers first championship since 2001. Tiger running back Erik Ragsdale paced the Tigers with 11 carries for 125 yards and three touchdowns. Ragsdale also intercepted a pass. Senior Torery Garrison led the Tigers with 13 total tackles.
