Another Texas Stadium Playoff Tripleheader

For the fourth straight weekend, Texas Stadium is the place to be for high school playoff action. Saturday's tripleheader will decide three region championships and send three teams to the state semifinals. The triple header will be headlined by VYPE's No. 1 nationally ranked Trinity taking on Allen for the Class 5A Division II Region I title at 4 p.m. Allen is coming off a victory over Odessa Permian behind backup quarterback Tucker Carter. A pair of upstarts -- Cedar Hill and Wylie -- play for the Class 5A Division II Region I title at noon. Class 5A Division II Region I Final Cedar Hill (12-1) vs. Wylie (11-2) noon, Saturday Class 5A Division I Region I Final Trinity (13-0) vs. Allen (12-1) 4 p.m., Saturday Class 4A Division I Region II Final Longview (11-2) vs. Waco Midway (12-1) 8 p.m., Saturday
