Athlete of the Week: Fountain Lake's Andrew Davis

Fountain Lake senior Andrew Davis spurred an explosive Fountain Lake rushing attack and helped the Cobras to a 62-20 3A playoff win against Harrisburg last Friday. For his efforts Davis earns VYPE Central Arkansas Athlete of the Week honors. Davis rushed for 245 yards and four touchdowns. He racked up 176 of the yards in the first half. Teammate Quentin Lindsey accumulated 77 rushing yards and caught a 26-yard touchdown pass. Fountain Lake finished with 469 rushing yards. Davis leads the undefeated No. 2-ranked Cobras to the quarterfinals Friday at No. 1-ranked Prescott this week.
