VYPE Pick-Em Contest Update

With the first two round of the playoffs in the books, Fox 16's David Raath currently leads the VYPE Pick-Em contest with 96 points in both the Expert division and the Open division. Vype Central Arkansas Editor Nate Olson climbs to 2nd place with 93 points. Other notables: Benton COunty Daily Records Tom Glave in 4th with 86 points, 40/29 Sports Director Mark Lericos in a tie for 7th place with 83 points and Beck and Godbee's Jason Godbee in 14th place with 73 points. In the Open Division, Wendell Welbern caught first round leader Doug McDaniel at 92 points. Jack Taylor, 91 points, and Gary Stith, 90 points, are close behind. The Scoring is tabulated by giving 1 point for each correct pick in the first round, 2 points for each correct pick in the second round, 3 points for each correct pick in the third round and so on. All correct Championship Round picks are worth 5 points. Contestants will be asked to predict the final score of all 6 State Championship games to help break any potential ties.
