Swimming Season Begins

The 2008 KHSAA swim season began this past weekend with the Eastern Kentucky Relays held in Richmond, Kentucky. The Trinity boys team won the team title with a score of 202. Tates Creek, from Lexington, finished second with a score of 172. Trinity set a meet record in the 100 yard freestyle, that had stood for 6 years. The Rocks had a time of 41.38 seconds. In the girls division, Manual scored a total of 186 points to outdistance Richmond Model, who scored 180. Please check the local listings of your favorite school for the swim schedule.
