VYPE Athlete of the Week: Derek Brinker

Springdale Har-Ber's Derek Brinker turned in one of his best performances of the season in a 37-21 win against North Little Rock. The Wildcats' senior rushed for 194 yards and three touchdowns in the first round playoff win at Springdale's Jarrell Williams Stadium. For his performance, Brinker has been named the VYPE Athlete of the Week for the week ending Nov. 15. Brinker, who was featured on VYPE Magazine's September cover, scored on runs of 57, 73 and 1. His 57-yarder came on the game's third play and gave Har-Ber a 7-0 lead it would never relinquish. Har-Ber travels to Cabot on Friday.
