The biggest upset happened in the very first game as Blaine (9-1) beat Eden Prairie (11-0) on Thursday night 28-24. Wayzata might be the team to watch now as they've been just behind Eagles on the polls all season long. The 10-0 team blew out St. Cloud Tech 38-0 in a Saturday night game up at St. Cloud State University. Last year's runner-up Cretin-Derham Hall (11-0) beat Lakeville South (8-2), 49-7, to earn their Dome appearance while Rosemount's (10-1) defense held Mounds View (8-2) scoreless to end the game with a score of 12-0. As the temperatures drop, the teams will be thankful for the warm temperatures in the dome this weekend for semi-final match ups. Blaine will play host to Cretin-Derham Hall on Friday night at 8:15 and Wayzata will take on Rosemount at 8:15 on Saturday night.
