Tuttle trailed 5-0 in the title game to Fort Gibson, but battled back and got a game-winning solo homerun from sophomore Nicole Workman in the bottom of the seventh to win 8-7. Tuttle came from behind in all three state tournament games, winning two in eight innings and one in the bottom of the seventh. Each win was by one run. Washington - A move up a class suited Washington just fine. The Warriors moved up to 3A a year ago and in just their second season in the class they won the state championship. They beat Adair 5-2 in the title game behind a strong offense, led by senior catcher Caitlyn Marcum. She was one of seven seniors as the experience was a big reason the Warriors won the title. Lawton MacArthur - The Highlanders won their first state fast-pitch title. They did it with a young team that had a lot of power and good pitching.
