This Week's National Matchups #11-15

#15 Lakeland (Lakeland, Florida) - at Ridge. Last week's result: defeated Jenkins 3-5. Big game facing the Dreadnaughts this week as they travel to face Ridge. The Boltz are undefeated at 7-0 and are coming off a big win over previously undefeated Lake Wales, where they fought to a 35-31 win. After picking last week's upset of Dorman over Byrnes (S.C.), I like this game as an upset alert, but... The bottom line: Ridge keeps it close, but Lakeland pulls it out 27-21. #14 Phoebus (Hampton, Virginia) - at Denbigh. Last week's result: defeated Kecoughtan 48-0. The Phantoms are on another shutout streak of two games, after a four-game streak earlier in the year. They have six shutouts through nine games and have only allowed 26 points all year. This week may not add to that point total. The bottom line...Phoebus wins 48-3. #13 Stone Bridge (Ashburn, Virginia) - vs. Woodson. Last week's result: defeated Jefferson, 70-7. The Bulldogs are playing tremendous football right now, outscoring their last four opponents to the tune of 194-13. This is a different team that they are facing this week. 7-2 Woodson comes to town. The Cavaliers have an impressive record against lesser opponents and have played tighter in those games. Stone Bridge is rolling along. The bottom line...Bulldogs by three touchdowns. #12 Timpview (Provo, Utah) - vs. West. Last week's result: defeated Provo 51-7. The Thunderbirds enter the playoffs against a West Panthers team that is sitting at 5-5. West lost the last two games of the regular reason to finish 4-3 in conference and now have the pleasure of facing off with Timpview in the first week of the playoffs. The Thunderbirds are rolling along and should continue that trend this week. The bottom line...Timpview 45-7. #11 Centennial (Corona, California) - vs. North (John W.). Last week's result: defeated Riverside Poly 56-6. The Huskies defense has been phenomenal by only allowing 21 points in the last three games combined, while the offense continues to put up points.
