#20 Don Bosco Prep (Ramsey, N.J.) - at Bergen Catholic. Last week's result: defeated Ridgewood 51-7. These Ironmen are playing some great ball since their opening loss to St. X. from Cincinnati. Defensively, they have only allow 10 points in their last three games while scoring 135. Waiting for them on Saturday is an undeated Bergen Catholic team. The Crusaders are anything but a walkover. They have outscored opponents 233-69 and this against some decent competition with a combined record of 23-13. Impressive, yes. But they haven't played the NATIONAL tier competition that Bosco has cut their teeth on this year. The bottom line...Bosco wins, but close, 24-17. #19 Skyline (Sammamish, Washington) - vs. Bothell. Last week's result: defeated Redmond 41-6. Much of the same here. Redmond came in with a 1-6 record and left with a big loss. Skyline has been rolling this season, only allowing a total of 14 points ALL SEASON. The Cougars from Bothell come in with a 6-2 record and are looking to take the district championship from Skyline. After their first two games, which were losses to teams with a combined record of 15-1, Bothell has been rolling. They have allowed only 14 points in their last six games. The bottom line...Skyline wins this one, but not by much. Spartans by less than a touchdown. #18 St. Xavier (Louisville, Kentucky) - vs. Central. Last week's result: defeated Pleasure Ridge Park 57-6. The Tigers came into last week's game allowing only 19 point all year and added only 6 more to that total. They also added to their average offensive points increasing to 52 points per game. This week's matchup with a 5-2 Central team could be a tough fought game. Last week Central beat their opponent 76-0. Ouch. These Yellowjackets have the offense and the defense to battle with St. X. Will they have enough to win? Doubt it. The bottom line...I like the Tigers at home. St. X wins 35-17. #17 Our Lady Of Good Counsel (Wheaton, Maryland) - vs. Gonzaga College. Last week's result: defeated St. John's 42-3. I figured that the Falcons would have a tougher fight last week against a one-loss team, but ended up rolling. This week they host a two-win team that at one time in the season went three entire games without scoring a point. Defensively they are having a hard time stopping people. The bottom line....Good Counsel wins big, 44-7. #16 South Pointe (Rock Hill, South Carolina) - vs. Spring Valley. Last week's result: defeated Blythewood 44-0. Defensively, the Stallions haven't allowed a point in over two games. Their total points allowed stands at 40 points, including four shutouts. Offensively they are scoring on average, 45 points per game while only allowing four. Spring Valley is limping with a 1-8 record and doesn't need this game to help their confidence. The bottom line...South Pointe rolls big, 56-3. Read about matchups #21-25
