Cretin shocks Woodbury in volleyball sectionals

Section 4AAA will have a new champion as Cretin-Derham Hall stunned 2007 State Class AAA Volleyball Tournament participant and top playoff seed Woodbury in five games (25-22, 14-25, 27-25, 14-25, 15-12) in the sectional semifinals Tuesday night at St. Paul Arlington High School. The Raiders, seeded fourth in the sectional, will play No. 2 seed Stillwater on Thursday night for a berth in the this year's state tournament. The Ponies defeated Roseville in four games in the preceding Section 4 semi (25-22, 25-22, 24-26, 25-22).
