#25 Camden County (Kingsland, Georgia) - vs. Savannah. Last week's result: defeated Jenkins, 70-0. During the last two weeks against Johnson and Jenkins, the Wildcats have defeated both teams by a combined score of 148-6. This week should just add to that as a winless Savannah comes to town. At 0-8, the Bluejackets are really struggling. Only averaging 11 points per game and shouldn't have much more than that this week. Camden is playing great ball right now. The bottom line...Camden by 48....conservatively. #24 Allen (Allen, Texas) - @ Plano East. Last week's result: defeated Dallas Jesuit, 49-17. The Eagles soared through last week, beating Dallas Jesuit (2-6) pretty handily. This week they travel to Plano East to face off with an East team that is fighting for that first win of the season. East has played an absolutely BRUTAL schedule and unfortunately the results show. The combined record of their opponents is 50-16. Now another one-loss team, Allen, comes to town. This doesn't bode well for East. The bottom line...much of the same, Allen by 28. #23 St. Ignatius (Cleveland, Ohio) - vs. St. Edward. Last week's result: defeated St. Edward, 34-12. I'm not sure that I quite get the whole playoff situation in Ohio. St I's is having to play St. Ed's in consecutive weeks. Last week was a regular season game and this week is the first round of playoffs. They also have Glenville, our #10 team, as a 4 seed, even though they are undefeated, seeded behind a two 9-1 teams and an 8-2 team. You figure it out, and let me know. Off my soapbox now and back to this game. What more can be said from last week? How much could really change? St. Ignatius has a different mindset when in the playoffs though. The bottom line...St. Ignatius roll again after another week of preparing for the same team, 42-10. #22 Lake Travis (Austin, Texas) - vs. Dripping Springs. Last week's result: IDLE. This is a HUGE game with many things on the line, including an undefeated season for both teams and first place in district 25-4A. Dripping Springs has been rolling along to 9-0, but against lesser competition than the Cavaliers have battled with. The Tigers' opponents records: 32-42., as opposed to the Cavs opponents at 32-33. That still isn't the tell-tale sign of whom will win. The stat that stands out to me is that Lake Travis has scored over 50 points in their last 4 games and have allowed an average of seven points in that stretch. The Tigers are averaging 27 points per game, but allowing 15. The bottom line...Close for awhile, but Cavs bust it open late and win by 14. #21 Byrnes (Duncan, South Carolina) - @ Mauldin. Last week's result: lost to Dorman 35-28. Byrnes had a tough game last week, as I proudly predicted. Losing to an undefeated Dorman team and now traveling to a 5-4 Mauldin, these Rebels should be re-focused and ready to roll. Mauldin has been on a roller coaster all season from scoring 62 points one week, to six points the next. Byrnes will pose a nasty offense for the Mavericks to try and stop. The bottom line....the Rebels get back on track and win handily, by three touchdowns. Read about matchups #16-20
