#15 Phoebus (Hampton, Virginia) - vs. Kecoughtan. The Phantoms have been a great defensive team this year, and have added the offense to boot. They have 5 shutouts through 8 games and have only allowed 26 points all year. That shouldn't change much with this week's game versus Kecoughtan. The Warriors did play tough last week against a 7-1 Hampton, but came up short by a touchdown to lose, 21-14. Defensively the Warriors will have to find a way to stop Phoebus if they want to have a chance in this game. The bottom line...Phoebus wins 42-14. #14 Stone Bridge (Ashburn, Virginia) - @ Jefferson. Another offensive powerhouse, the Bulldogs have scored, get this, 393 points, in only eight games this season. That's an average of 49 points per game. The problem is the teams that they have racked up these point totals against teams with a combined record of 23-38. Not exactly the top flight schools. Good thing for Stone Bridge is that Jefferson is only 2-5 and those wins were over teams with a record of 3-13. The Colonials are struggling offensively and defensively right now. The bottom line...Stone Bridge wins big. #13 Timpview (Provo, Utah) - @ Provo. The Thunderbirds have racked up points and yardage all year, but against better competition than they will face this week. The Provo Bulldogs started out 0-5, but have actually won two out of their last three games. Those two games weren't against teams like Timpview though. Provo will not have the same luck this week. The bottom line....Thunderbirds win by three touchdowns. #12 Centennial (Corona, California) - @ Riverside Poly. The Huskies have a couple of huge wins early in the season against Mater Dei and Clovis West and have continued their winning ways by holding teams to nearly 15 points per game. This week a 3-2 Riverside Poly comes to town riding a two-game losing streak. The Bears are having a hard time stopping their opponents from getting in the end zone during those two games. This game could be the same result for Poly. The bottom line...Centennial rolls by 20. #11 Glenville Academic Campus (Cleveland, Ohio) - vs. East. Defensively the Tarblooders have to be one of the top teams in the country only allowing 42 in nine games, that's less than five points per game. During the last two weeks against 1-8 teams, Glenville outscored them by 103-0. Well, this week welcomes East, a 0-9 team. Expect much of the same result. During the East Bombers winless season, they have been shut out in five different games, and are averaging only four points per game. This doesn't bode well for East. The bottom line...Glenville big, and I mean, big. Read about matchups #21-25 Read about matchups #16-20 Read about matchups #6-10 Read about matchups #1-5
