The Broken Arrow Tigers knew coming into their game with Muskogee it was going to be a tough match-up. Playing the Roughers at home would give them an advantage, but Muskogee takes pride in being an exceptional road team. It was homecoming for Broken Arrow and a win would insure a No. 1 ranking in the state.

The first quarter was all Broken Arrow putting up two touchdowns and looking as if the game would be won going away. However Muskogee fought for four quarters and made a game of it going into halftime. With 2:56 on the clock in the second quarter, Muskogee took the ball and drove down the field getting it into field goal range. The kick was good and Muskogee was knocking on upsets door.

The third and fourth quarter was really a back and forth battle for field position. After trading touchdowns the Roughers were backed up in their own end of the field and needed a long drive to win the game. That's just what quarterback Archie Bradley did. With :08 seconds to go in the game, Bradley put up and fade pass in the back of the endzone and junior receiver Cole Chapman came down with the ball to win the game.

The rankings for Class 6A were turned upside down after Friday night. Here's the Class 6A rankings as of Monday 6th, October.

1. Norman North
2. Union
3. Jenks
4. Midwest City
5. Muskogee
6. Broken Arrow
7. Putnam North
8. Mustang
9. Edmond Santa Fe
10. Owasso

The Midwest City offense has put up 245 points making them the highest scoring offense in Class 6A, while Jenks has only allowed 37 points to be scored on them making the Trojan defense No.1. Mustang, Norman North and Midwest City are the only teams still undefeated.

Sand Springs is 2-0 in district and 4-1 overall.

Choctaw is also 2-0 in district play.
