Girls to Watch
Coriann Hoar, Watonga – Hoar, who won the Kingfisher meet and finished second at the Watonga meet earlier this season, is a strong contender to win the Class 2A title. She finished third a year ago to help Watonga win the Class A team title.

Brett Scott, Bishop McGuinness – He is the lead runner for the Fighting Irish and has had several impressive finishes this season in 5A.

Jonathan Reames, Shawnee – He is the leader of a talented team that should compete for the 5A state championship. He finished eighth at the 4A state meet last year.

Josh Ramirez, Moore – He had an impressive victory in a talented field at the OCU meet earlier this season. He finished 14th a year ago in the 5A state meet. He is the top runner on possibly the best 6A team on the West side, one that finished third at the state meet last season.

Andy Carroll, Mustang – He is a talented runner who is looking to get Mustang back as one of the elite teams in 6A.

Ricky Sanchez, Western Heights – He captured first in the Yukon meet and second at the OCU meet earlier this year. He is a dark horse runner to watch make an impact at the 6A meet.
