Troy at Ohio State After seeing Ohio University play with The Ohio State University, this has The Upset Special written all over it. Troy is no longer everybody's punk. They're probably better than Florida State. State by 6. East Carolina at N.C. State 3-0 East Carolina, with wins over Virginia Tech, West Virginia and Tulane (who came up with this schedule? Lou Holtz' son, that's who), will get its fourth non-conference win over a BCS conference team before entering Conference USA play. (They still have Virginia left on the sked.) East Carolina has BCS written all over it if it can win at Southern Miss in USA play. Piarrrrrrrrrrrates by 10. Alabama at Arkansas Arkansas is a tough place to play. Hogs by 6. Florida at Tennessee Tennessee has the greatest football stadium in the country (better than Notre Dame Stadium). But it won't be enough to hang with Florida. Gators by 17. Boise State at Oregon I want Dan Hawkins back, not in the Big 12. He'd beat Oregon. Ducks by 17. Notre Dame at Michigan State Domers by 1, late. This game is completely unpredictable year to year. State could be amazing or terrible - all in the same game. Remember 2005? the Irish were down by like 20 getting stomped and they come back and win in the fourth quarter. As a note, State has some of the worst fans in the world. Their stadium is quiet, they're dumb and mean and they leave the game so early if they're losing. I hate State almost as I hate Michigan. My buddies and I are responsible for creating the cheer, "If you can't go to college, go to State" said to the cantor of "If you're happy and you know it, clap your hands." Utah at Air Force I've got Air Force. Anyone who has read my stuff on the Hutch football program knows my admiration for the triple option offense. Academy by 6. Wake Forest at Florida State Wake is ranked ahead of Fla State. Someone stop the madness and give me back Florida State, Miami, Nebraska, Michigan and Notre Dame as the top programs in the nation. LSU at Auburn And please get rid of these two as two of the top programs in the nation. In comparison to Michigan and Notre Dame, they're upstarts. Really, they're nothing more than upstarts. Please change it back to the way it used to be. LSU by 10. Georgia at Arizona State I really don't care about this game. These teams mean nothing to the college football elite. Notre Dame was way better than stupid Georgia and Herschel Walker in 1980. We got robbed because there was no BCS. If there had been a BCS or playoff, Notre Dame wins the national title head to head against Georgia, which couldn't light a candle to Devine's Irish that year. And 1993, dang it, we were the best...
