After a sluggish start to the season, the Arlington Lady Colts may be back on track following a performance Tuesday night that more resembled the VYPE preseason No. 1 team in the area. Arlington (13-8) took matches from both Keller Central (15-4) and Northwest (6-9). It took the Lady Colts five games to best the Lady Texans, but Arlington swept Central.
Arlington has played much of the early season without All-Texas first teamer Tobi Farrar, who has battled an injury. Still, head coach Sue Cauley has been disappointed with the fight has team has shown – or failed to show – until Tuesday night. Arlington trailed in several games before storming back. The Lady Colts will be tested again this weekend during the Arlington tournament.
