Locals battle conditions at grueling race

Just minutes into Saturday's Western States Endurance Run, which started in Squaw Valley, California, The Woodlands' Pat Shannon said to Gordon Ainsleigh, the first man ever to run 100 miles of the historic Western States trail in 1974, "Gordie, it's all your fault."
