Marlow team to beat in tough 3A-2

Marlow is loaded with talent for new head coach Barry Foster, who comes over from Rush Springs. Bethany moves up to Class 3A after reaching the semifinals in 2A a year ago. Purcell is a constant in the playoffs the past few years. One team to watch as a sleeper could be Pauls Valley, who has one of the best running backs in the class in Tyler Harding. Player to watch: Tyler Harding, Pauls Valley. The junior should improve on his numbers from a year ago when he was one of the top runners in 3A with over 1,000 yards as a sophomore. He is small, but fast and strong. One game you have to see: It's the season opener Sept. 5 with Tuttle at Marlow. The two teams have created quite a rivalry over the years with some fantastic playoff games.
