Eastern Oklahoma: You Voted

Tuesday, June 30, 2009

Northeast Oklahoma you voted and now here are your results. We asked "Who is the best high school running back out of the Tulsa area in the last five years?" Your possible choices were Jeremy Smith, Chris Adkins, Kenny Sessions, Michael Harris and Prince McKinney. The voting was close with no one player garnering a huge amount but the winner with 27.06% of the votes is former Booker T. Washington Hornet Michael Harris.

With 24.71% recently graduated Union Redskin Jeremy Smith came in second and is headed to Oklahoma State. Smith finished ahead of Backyard Bowl rival and former Jenks Trojan standout Chris Adkins who got 20% of the votes. Former Broken Arrow Tiger and current Northeastern State Riverhawk Prince McKinney registered 17.65% and Kenny Sessions of East Central Cardinal fame finished with 9.41%. There were 85 votes tallied in the poll.

Be sure to answer the new poll question: "Who is the best Tulsa area high school wide receiver since 2000?" It should be a fun race between Jerome Janet (Union), Robert Meachem (Booker T Washington), Quentin Chaney (Booker T Washington), Prentiss Elliot (TSST/McLain) and Jameel Owens (Muskogee).
