Plano, Celina stars on state 7-on-7 team

Plano's Carson Meger and Rex Burkhead, and Celina's Jose Romero, were named to the Fox Sports Net Southwest 7-on-7 state tournament team. Plano was undefeated through Class 4A/5Apool play at Texas A&M's intramural fields, but lost to Colleyville Heritage in the quarterfinals. Richland defeated Mesquite in the Class 4A/5A championship game. Defending 3A champion Celina was knocked out in the quarterfinals by New Waverly.
