The Broken Arrow Tigers played host to this week's passing league activities and put on a good show for the 30 fans and parents that battled the heat. The Tigers were impressive early on offensively with Zac Mills and Todd Naftzger both at quarterback. Both showed their ability to get the ball down the field early with deep passes to wide receiver Ronnie Price.
Both quarterbacks seemed to tire as the evening progressed with deep passes not having the velocity they had earlier. Running back Steven Hopper saw time in the backfield running crisp routes but didn't get many balls thrown to him as quarterbacks found other options prior to the check down.
Defensively the Tigers looked good led by senior linebackers Jon Bullock and Terry Williamson. Both looked ready to go for the season and led their teams both not only by their play but were vocal on the sidelines.
Next week passing league heads to Jenks on June 30, with the action starting at 6pm.
