The Woodlands (Texas) athlete Logan Rowe impressed opposing coaches on both sides of the ball for the Highlanders last season. Galena Park (Texas) North Shore defensive coordinator John Kay directs one of the stingiest defenses in the state. "He made some plays against us that not many other kids did," Kay said. "He's explosive and is hard to get down. He gets in space and he's trouble." The 5-foot-10, 180-pound athlete has attended several one-day camps and campuses over the past 12 months including Rice, Northwestern, Purdue, Oklahoma State, SMU and Stanford to name a few. He plans on visiting Colorado State, Air Force and Army in weeks to come. "I've been offered by Army and Air Force and want to get up there to see their campuses," he said. "Most schools are recruiting me as a cornerback or a slot receiver and I've performed pretty well everywhere I've been." "The recruiting process and the summer camps have been a lot of fun," he said. "I am looking forward to my senior season and helping my team have a great year. I am keeping all my options open right now." For now, Rowe will try and lead the Highlanders to a seven-on-seven state championship, which will be held in College Station, Texas.
