PCA Product Swagerty Cools Texas Bats

When Arizona State starter Mike Leake began to struggle in the fourth inning of the Sun Devils' loss to Texas at the College World Series on Tuesday, State called on Prestonwood Christian Academy product and former All-VYPE team member and cover boy Jordan Swagerty.

The freshman retired the first two Longhorns to get the Sun Devils out of the inning tied, 6-6, and was relieved in the next inning.

Swagerty could see more action tonight as the Sun Devils play North Carolina in an elimination game.
