Eight Arkansas Prospects Named To 2011 Watch List

Eight Arkansans have been named to the watch list for the ESPNU 150 for the Class of 2011. The list was released today with 360 prospects to watch, including two from Fayetteville and two from 4A Champ Shiloh Christian.

Fayetteville quarterback Brandon Allen and receiver Demetrius Dean made the list. Both already have pulled the trigger on verbal commitments to the University of Arkansas. Shiloh Christian quarterback Kiehl Frazier and defensive tackle Sam Harvill also are on the list.

Springdale Har-Ber offensive tackle Brey Cook is on the team after helping the Wildcats win the 7A state title. He’s been the No. 1 prospect in Arkansas in VYPE’s Class of 2011 rankings since last summer.

Clarksville athlete Wesleigh Foster, Dumas quarterback Darion Griswold and North Little Rock defensive tackle Antonio Cooksey round out the Arkansans who made the watch list.

In the latest VYPE college prospect rankings for Arkansas' Class of 2011, Frazier follows Cook at No. 2, Allen is No. 3, Griswold is No. 4, Foster is No. 5 and Harvill is No. 8.
