Sources: Frazier Headed To Shiloh Christian

Wednesday, June 11, 2008

Coaches and administrators from both schools involved declined comment until the status of star athlete Kiehl Frazier is official, but unofficially, it appears the one-time West Fork phenom will be suiting up for Shiloh Christian this fall. Frazier, a sophomore quarterback who already is drawing attention as a Division I prospect, has set the ball in motion to make the move. According to multiple unnamed sources, the 6-foot-2, 190-pounder and his family met with West Fork administrators at the end of the school year and informed them of their intention to move the family into Shiloh Christian school district in Springdale. Kiehl (pronounced Kyle) Frazier is working to complete the process of enrolling at Shiloh Christian this week before anything is finalized. This will give the Saints a logjam of talented quarterbacks with current player David Matthews looking sharp during spring drills. Frazier also is a standout at safety and starred in baseball and basketball for the Tigers' junior high squads last season. After leading the junior high football team to a 9-1 record, Frazier then stepped in for injured West Fork starting quarterback Daniel Holiday and threw the team's only touchdown pass in a season-ending loss against Green Forest. West Fork should be fine at quarterback this fall as Holiday, who led the team to the state semifinals as a sophomore, returns to start for the third consecutive season.
