Cretin-Derham Hall runs their way to Team of the Week award

Cretin-Derham Hall has earned Vype Team of the Week honors after winning the Suburban East Conference with a 13-3 circuit record. The Raiders clinched the title by means of a 4-3 win over Stillwater on May 16 after the Ponies had defeated Cretin in St. Paul eight days earlier. It's the second conference crown in a row for the Raiders, who also earned the SEC championship with a 13-3 league mark last season. The Raiders have a 14-4 record overall in the abridged 2008 season, winning 12-of-14 games since starting the year 2-2.
