No. 19/5A Arlington Lamar (6-3, 3-2) vs. Arlington Martin (5-4, 3-2)

No. 4/5A DeSoto (8-1, 4-0) at Tyler John Tyler (8-1, 3-1)
7:30 p.m., Rose Stadium, Tyler
John Tyler’s upset loss to Tyler Lee took some of the shine off this showdown between District 11-5A’s best teams. Players like DeSoto quarterback Ryan Polite and running back Marcus Murphy will provide fireworks, nonetheless.

No. 16/5A Irving Nimitz (7-2, 4-1) at No. 1/5A Cedar Hill (9-0, 5-0)
7:30 p.m., Longhorn Stadium
As dominant as No. 1 Cedar Hill has been, Irving Nimitz can still swipe the District 7-5A title with an upset. Cedar Hill running back Ben Malena returns for the state’s top-ranked team.
Prediction: Cedar Hill 49, Irving Nimitz 17
No. 9/5A FM Marcus (5-3, 2-2) at Hebron (4-5, 1-3)
7:30 p.m., Hawk Stadium, Carrollton
Hebron has managed just one District 6-5A win, but can still make the playoffs with a win over Marcus and a Flower Mound loss.
Prediction: FM Marcus 27, Hebron 21
Plano (3-6, 2-3) at Jesuit (4-5, 2-3)
7:30 p.m., Haggar Stadium, Dallas
The winner claims District 8-5A’s final playoff berth. The loser turns in equipment Monday.

No. 9/4A Rockwall-Heath (7-2, 5-1) at No. 2/4A Highland Park (8-1, 6-0)
7:30 p.m., Highlander Stadium
Highland Park has been cruising along in District 10-4A play, but Rockwall-Heath can earn a share of its second straight district title if the Hawks can slow down Scots quarterback Luke Woodley.
Prediction: Highland Park 49, Rockwall-Heath 36
No. 1/Large Private Schools TCA-Addison (9-0, 5-0) at No. 2/Large Private Schools FW Nolan Catholic (9-0, 5-0)
