Haleigh Lankster is a senior at Booker T. Washington High School and plays on the varsity basketball team. She is a captain on the team and wants to help her squad to a state championship in her senior year. Haleigh is considered by many of her peers to be one of the better shooters in the state and can knock down three’s when needed.

    Haleigh’s father, Paul Lankster, played his high school ball at Webster High School. He graduated in 1981 and is now a retired State Trooper. Head coach Annette Kennedy has coached the Booker T. Washington girls basketball team for 10 years taking them to the quarterfinals in 2007. Coach Kennedy has high expectations for this Lady Hornet team and expects great things from her girls this season.
