Oklahoma Central Credit Union has been involved in the Tulsa area community since their founding in 1941. Since that time the credit union has grown from one branch to nine Tulsa area locations. One of the foundations that Oklahoma Central was built on was to improve the lives of their members, their employees and the community.

Oklahoma Central Credit Union specifically has an interest in educating students in the Tulsa community on financial matters and helping Tulsa area schools achieve their goals through partnerships and sponsorships. Rick Loyd, Executive Vice President states that “Oklahoma Central’s involvement in the areas where we work is crucial to the success of the community and the credit union. We have partnered with many schools to sponsor events, offer a check card product that gives back money to the school when used and offer financial education courses that are interesting and educational for students.”

Oklahoma Central built a branch in Catoosa, OK in 2000. A relationship was soon forged between Catoosa High School and the credit union.
"This school year was a "banner" year for our athletic programs with 7 of our programs qualifiying for their state tournaments. Business' that support our programs like Oklahoma Central Credit Union makes the job of the athletic director much easier" says Tony Martray, Assistant Principal/Activities Director at Catoosa High School.
Oklahoma Central has helped the athletic department with sponsorships, donated the time clock for the football field, sends employee volunteers to help with sporting events and has introduced a Visa Check Card Product that gives a donation back to the school each time it is used.
