Tulsa Receives First Commitment for 2010

Jenks' offensive lineman Jake Alexander gives verbal to TU
Jake Alexander of Jenks High School became the first commitment for the University of Tulsa for the 2010 season. The 6-foot-2, 265-pound offensive lineman is the son of former Hurricane and NFL standout David Alexander. Jake attended the TU Football Camp where he was told that he would be recruited “hard.” Jake stated in an interview with rivals.com, “the early scholarship offer shows they really want me.” He said that coach Herb Hand has had a great influence on his decision. He says he is “100 percent committed to the University of Tulsa. Alexander is going into his junior season as a two-year starter. He will anchor the offensive line for the always title-contending Jenks Trojans.
