Jon Michael was only home for 45 minutes on Monday to change cloths, repack and catch a plane for Ft. Benning, Georgia to train with the USA Teammate and 2008 Olympian Vincent Hancock. Jon Michael will be in Hartford, CT this weekend for an event, then back to Tulsa for a few days before he leaves for Beijing.

Jon Michael placed 4th in the US Olympic Trials. The US Olympic Team is made up of only 2 men and 1 woman. Jon Michael is going to Beijing to support his teammates. Although he will not be participating in the Olympic Games the experience of traveling to China for the Olympics will fuel his efforts to become an Olympian and represent the United States in four years.

Special thanks to Jon M. McGrath for providing VYPE with updates and regular information on Jon Michael.
