Owasso skipper has led Rams to seven state championships

Larry Turner, Owasso head baseball coach, was named the EA Sports National High School Baseball Coach of the Year. He led the Rams to their second consecutive state title. Overall Turner has coached seven out of the ten titles that the school has won. With Coach Turner’s efforts the Rams finished with a 35-3 record and was ranked No. 1 during the season and finished at No. 5 nationally at Rivals.com. The Rams defeated Moore 5-2 in the 6A state championship game in Norman.
