Dear Friend of East Central High School Track and Field:

We have just finished the 2008 outdoor track & field season and we are very excited about the accomplishments of this year. Our athletes performed well throughout the entire track season and finished the season with an exclamation point by becoming the 2008 5-A boys and girls high school track & field state champions. This achievement marks the first ever track and field state championship for our boy’s team and the third consecutive state championship for our girl’s team.

The purpose of this letter is to request your assistance in rewarding our athletes for their hard work; dedication and accomplishments by helping us purchase championships rings. We have 44 numbers of athletes who have earned rings; the cost per ring is $250 for a grand total of $11,000. With a contribution of $1,000, sponsoring four athletes, we will be able to present these athletes with a ring that represents a piece of history that they put their blood, sweat and tears to being to fruition.

Enclosed is the May issue of High School Sports, The Magazine. Please take a moment to view and read about our athletes featured on pages 2, 25 and 58-61 (article).

We truly believe it takes a community effort to provide the best for our children…our future. Thank you, in advance for your contribution to that effort!

Make check payable to:
East Central High Schools Track Booster Club

Sincerely

Kevin Gordon, Head Coach
