The Rams beat Moore to bring home the 6A title
The Owasso Rams won the 6A state title Tuesday night by defeating the Moore Lions, 5-2.
Moore was making their first apperance in the state finals in 22 years. Too bad for the Lions they had to face the most dominating team of the last 10 years. Brian Flynn stands 6-8, but on the mound he looks 10 feet tall. Flynn pitched a great game, but it was the bats of Jarrod Huneryager and Austin Kirk that helped propel the Rams to victory.
The win marks back-to-back state titles and Owasso's tenth overall. Look for more coverage on the state tournament and all of the Class results in the June issue on stands June 2nd.
