Texas has 2 seasons of Football. Texas School of Football is growing leaps and bounds with it dual season of football. Not only do they offer select level play during the fall, but for the past three years spring football has opened new doors. For many young athletes who want to stay active during the spring, but don't like soccer or baseball they now have spring football. Teams are formed from the pure grade level for grades 2nd - 8th. Teams come from all over the metro plex to play and the competition is great. For younger players from 2nd - 5th grade, spring football helps them develop their skills and knowledge of the game as well as gets them off the streets or from in front of the TV. Now for the older boys, well it helps them really work on their game so that they are ready to advance in middle school or even high school. In spring 2008 the Star Telegram wrote a full front page story about spring football and since then more and more kids are signing up to play. This year the TSOF and HSFL have created a Spring Football State Championship which is being played at Baylor University in Waco. The top 3 teams for the 7th & 8th grade divisions from both leagues will compete for bragging rights. Go to the texasschooloffootball.com website for more details and see for yourself. This is a great story to publish, please contact me so we can discuss further.
