Peach Retires With Seventh-Most Texas Wins

Eddy Peach, the football coach at Arlington Lamar since the school opened in 1970, has announced his retirement.

Arlington High coach Scott Peach confirmed his father's retirement.

Eddy Peach is the first Texas high school football coach to win 300 games at the Class 5A level. He is the state's seventh-winningest high school football coach.

Peach led the Vikings to the 5A championship game in 1990.
