Is it football season already? If not, it’s definitely football preview season.
As you can see, we’ve devoted the majority of our pages to VYPE’s first Collin County high school football season (don’t worry, VYPE has not gone all-football, all the time) and we’re pretty proud of the results.
There are many people to thank, from the many coaches who contributed information about their teams to our cover players – Daryn Alves, Rex Burkhead and Ryan Mossakowski – who graciously offered their time way back in May. Photographer Louis DeLuca and graphic designer Michael Abbott combined their talents to produce a captivating cover.
But there’s more inside where we hope you’ll find your favorite player’s name in our comprehensive preview of Collin County public and private high school teams.
We also should thank our advertising sponsors who support your school’s teams through their support of VYPE: Collin County. These advertisers have taken on their role of supporting our efforts to get the stories and photos of your kids in our pages each month.
We’re approaching our 12th issue covering Collin County high school sports and –if the first 10 months are any indication – we’re looking forward to many years to come.
And don’t forget to go to VYPE.com/collincounty/ to join our high school sports community. You’ll find editors, writers and boosters exchanging their opinions, as well as the latest news and notes affecting your Collin County team.
