McKinney, Frisco schools rule 14-4A & 15-4A All-District soccer teams
Most Valuable Players London Woodberry and Amanda Frisbie led a long list of players from McKinney schools and Frisco schools claiming the 14-4A and 15-4A All-District teams.
Nine players from state champion McKinney Boyd were voted to 14-4A individual awards and first team girls honors. Emily Reid was elected offensive player of the year. Freshman Kelly Monogue was named Newcomer of the Year. McKinney High players London Woodberry and Amanda Frisbie were named 15-4A’s Most Valuable Players.
Collin County underclassmen also claimed five of seven Newcomer of the Year slots as part of all-district teams from districts 14-4A and 15-4A.
Frisco boys coach Daniel Dollinger was named 14-4A’s Coach of the Year. Lovejoy boys coach Jeff Kear was voted 15-4A Coach of the Year.
